The “System” refers to the actual Simplifi application itself. In this module you can modify settings for Simplifi itself.

Setting Up Guide

You can follow this guide to set up the system. This guide will run through heading by heading and detail what the settings are, what they do and provide an example of the setting. If a setting is complicated, it will lead to another page.
System Settings that are self-explanatory such as Password Control, Facebook etc are not included.
  1. Company Details These are our company details. Unsure why this is included ASK
  2. Server Settings These are the settings for the server Unsure of many ASK. Duplicated Settings?
  3. Website
  4. Other Settings These are other miscellaneous settings related to the Google SSO/Calendar VERIFY THIS, Cloudflare and Job start reminders, Reports.
  5. OpenAI Settings These are the settings for Pete the chatbot.
  6. Push Notification Sound Files These are the push notification sound effects that you can select for the various notifications Simplifi sends out via One Signal. Set this up with either “one” or “glass”. These are the notification sounds that Simplifi uses.
  7. Linked Backup Settings These are settings related to backing up Simplifi’s data files (users, organisations etc). Files Backup Folder points to the folder in the computer that the server is running on that the system will firstly back up to. True? Linked External Systems are other live backup locations that are contained in other systems, these just point to the specific folder. Do they? is it external or not no network options there?
  8. Test Server Email Exceptions Receiving emails from the test server does not work by default. If you would like to, for example, test the email function via the test server, you would want to add your email to this list. This would let the server still send you the email.
  9. Release Notification Emails By writing your email in this text box, you will receive a notification every time there is a new release.
